Essie Essie Essie!!

...Essie is my all favourite nail liquor. I would highly recommend it. I know that painting your nails can be quite a messy job if it is not done correctly as I found with other nail varnishes. But the Essie brush is super thick which makes the nail liquor very easy to apply. Even when it comes to painting the dreaded left hand (or if your left handed the right hand). The choice of colours are endless...

(Some of my Essie collection 'so far')
(My two favourites at the moment)

Luxedo-(This deep purple colour is perfect for a rainy day)

Baby daddy-(This soft pink gives your nails a natural extra shine)

Let me know what colours are you favourite this February. Thanks for reading. Feel free to comment :).

It's Friday!!

Seen as it was my day off I had a bit of a lie in (which was well and truly needed). This was before I got ready for a spot of lunch at Pizza Hut with one of my favourites. Despite stuffing our faces with Pizza we opted for the side of salad (you know to keep "healthy").

(our first helpings..oh yes there is more to come)

(second helpings...and no this is not it)

(..and finally desert... PIZOOKIE)

Now for the outfit of the day!

 top-topshop / jeans-topshop / coat-oasis / boots-river island / necklace-topshop

I hope you all had a great Friday! Where are your favourite spots to eat?

Valentines day!

I spent valentines day surrounded by people with love heart shaped balloons and massive teddy bears. And no I did not receive any of the above but not to worry heart shaped chocolates and good company was a perfect way to enjoy the day. I hope your valentines days were slightly more adventurous than mine! What did you do to celebrate?

Pancake Day!

There are TWO ways of making pancakes.

-From scratch

Recipe for pancakes

110g Plain Flour
A pinch of salt
2 eggs
200ml milk
75ml water
50g butter

The simplest recipe (by far) I found online is on the link below:

OR

-The cheats way (Betty Crocker shake to make pancake mix)

If you have the time I really suggest making the pancakes from scratch; it requires extremely basic cooking skills and takes barely any time to make! Homemade food always tastes better in my opinion.

What I look forward to the most about making pancakes is the toppings! My favourite topping has to be sugar and lemon.
But why limit yourself to just one topping? Here's some very popular ones, all tried and tested by yours truly:
  • berries and nuts
  • ice cream
  • bananas, strawberries and apple slices
  • nutella
  • golden syrup
  • whipped cream
  • peanut butter
  • marshmallows

what are your favourite toppings?
